Occupational Therapist School Setting in Belvidere, IL

Three full-time positions are available, with each offering 37.5 hours per week. Orientation is set for August 3 and 4, 2026, with students beginning August 10, 2026, and the contract running through May 21, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in school settings or strong interest in school-based OT practice
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and educational environments
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practice standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress
• Utilize provided equipment and testing materials for therapy and evaluations
• Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and annual performance reviews
• Engage in process improvement initiatives to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery
