Contracts Manager

Overview The Contract Manager provides contract management support to Corporate Counsel, the Director of Contract Administration, and other senior managers. Responsibilities include reviewing, redlining, and negotiating agreements, tracking contract status, managing document execution, and supporting the full contract lifecycle. Responsibilities Type variety of documents, including confidential contract negotiations and technical exhibits. Maintain and set up sophisticated filing and tracking systems. Review, red‑line, and negotiate terms within established guidelines to mitigate contractual risk in customer construction contracts, leases, NDAs, and other miscellaneous contracts. Assist in resolving contract‑related issues that arise. Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, and other documents as required. Finalize formatting of contracts and other documents after negotiations and prepare for final execution. Manage document executions through DocuSign or hard copy when required. Work closely with project teams throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from initial fact‑checking to final document completion. Edit PDFs and convert to editable, searchable, searchable formats as needed. Act as liaison between managers, departments, external contacts, and clients, arranging meetings, clarifying issues, and coordinating work. Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analyses, brochures, and multimedia presentations as requested. Track and manage status of contract documents and exhibits through negotiations. Assist managers in completing action items and obtaining responses by following up with others on their behalf. Qualifications Computer and software proficiency, filing, and document control. Attention to detail; strong analytical skills favored. Impeccable grammar, strong writing and editing skills required. Ability to identify and meet customers’ expectations and requirements. Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and follow‑up skills. High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters. Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Oracle preferred; Vizio preferred. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities as necessary. Effective oral and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player. Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients. Experience& Education Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5‑7years of experience in contract management is highly preferred, preferably in a construction or renewable energy environment. Working Conditions General work environment includes long periods of sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be louder on job sites. Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs.
