IERUS develops value for our defense and commercial customers through accelerations of the technology life cycle: identifying, creating, transitioning, and producing technologies with integrity of purpose and product.This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Systems Administrator supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.Responsibilities:Maintain frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in delivering solutions to challenging technical issues related to specific projects.Occasional work outside of regular hours may be requiredServe as the first line of defense for user-level interactions and issuesSupporting users in person, over secure phone, email, or instant message (IM)Support MDA flight tests, focus on integrating R&D systems into program systems.Required Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degreeMust have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to startWillingness to travel 10% of the time for business needsSince this position will be customer-facing, strong customer service skills, in addition to IT expertise, are essentialComfortable diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with remote users dailyPreferred Qualifications:Creating domain accounts with restricted security group addition abilitiesUser password resets and VDI troubleshootingApplication installation and troubleshooting support for usersUser Thin Client TroubleshootingCollaborate with the Active Directory team and compliance/patching admins to review and improve updating processes and proceduresAdministrative experience with RedHat 7/8/9 in an enterprise settingExperience with Windows 10/11 administration in an enterprise settingAdditionally, over 3 years of experience supporting users in an enterprise-level systemExperience in installing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux applicationsComfortable interfacing professionally with users and customers in an IT service settingAbility to write and edit technical documentation of processes and procedures in solutions such as Atlassian ConfluenceLocation: Colorado Springs, COThe proposed salary range for this position is $114,000 - $129,000.
