Albany Associates in Cardiology and St. Peters Health Partners are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Hospitalist to join our growing team in the Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to provide dedicated inpatient cardiac care across Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, and St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY, within a collaborative, patient focused environment and one of the regions leading health systems.

Position Highlights:

• Full time inpatient Cardiac Hospitalist position within a high volume, cardiology-focused service
\n
• Schedule: 7 on 7 off
\n
• Work exclusively in cardiac hospital medicineno outpatient responsibilities
\n
• Provide comprehensive inpatient management of acute cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes (ACS), and post procedural cardiac care
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators
\n
• Flexible schedule with a competitive call structure designed to support worklife balance
\n
• Competitive compensation package, including productivity-based wRVU incentives for cardiologists in this role
\n

Clinical Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for cardiology patients
\n
• Perform admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning
\n
• Coordinate care with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery teams
\n
• Interpret cardiac diagnostics including EKGs, telemetry, and echocardiograms
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviews
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
\n
• Experience or strong interest in cardiology-focused hospital medicine
\n
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State
\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
\n

Recruitment Package:

\n
• Base Salary is $600,000 per year
\n
• Year 2- Cardiologist has opportunity to join Pool Model where RVU and Quality Incentive Models are shared among pool members. Entry into Pool model requires annual RVU threshold.
\n
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

• Fellowship compensation available- up to 100k per year for early sign on (paid out as a monthly stipend)
