Your Role

• Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Administer individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to foster a cohesive strategy for care.
• Provide education to patients and their families to ensure continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet secured ASHA certification.

Licensure and Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
