Job Opportunity – Progressive Critical Care Unit RN – New York

Start Date: November 23, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Schedule: 48 hours per week available; shift details provided upon inquiry

Highlights:

• Work in a Progressive Critical Care Unit caring for medically delicate and surgically complex patients
• Case mix includes respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Average patient load of 3 high-acuity patients
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission
• Professional environment with navy blue scrubs dress code

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (local candidates from certain counties may not be eligible)
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Competency in care of medical and surgical populations
• Advanced hemodynamics experience including pressor usage per titration protocols
• Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols
• Proficiency with HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen-dependent patients
• Large-scale adult PCU experience or community hospital ICU experience preferred
