About the Position

Job Title

Surgical Technologist – LDRP / OB Tech

Bismarck, ND

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (0700–1900) and Nights (1900–0700) available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within an LDRP / OB department, primarily assisting with vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Work within a single-suite environment under the direction of a charge nurse or manager present on each shift
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including every third weekend and two holidays per year
• Float to other areas of the facility as a helping hand or safety sitter as needed, with potential opportunity to float to the main OR
• Adhere to department scheduling as assigned by the manager

Required Qualifications

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA or certification through NCCT
• Active North Dakota state license
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including weekend and holiday coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an OB or LDRP surgical tech role
• Familiarity with cesarean section and vaginal delivery procedures
• Flexibility to float to various department areas as needed
