Description:
The position requires a skilled Occupational Therapist for outpatient services.
A minimum of 1 year of experience is needed.
Candidates with no prior travel experience are welcome to apply.
The clinician will not be required to be on-call.
There is no requirement for floating within the scope of practice.
Candidates should discuss any scheduling or time-off requests with management, as accommodations may be available.
The facility is a critical access hospital with a total of 25 beds.
The daily patient census averages around 20.
The team includes support from physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services among others.
Candidates will work with adults and geriatrics, handling a variety of diagnoses.
The hours worked will be from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five days a week.
The therapist will focus on patient assessments, community re-entry, discharge planning, and rehabilitation of various conditions.
Soft tissue injuries, hand injuries, total joint replacements, and safety precautions are part of the scope of care.
Candidates must demonstrate completed and clear documentation using required charting systems.
