Target Base Salary Range: $55k - $65k plus commission

As a House Account Specialist, you will be at the heart of our regional community, taking ownership of a thriving sales territory dedicated to supporting and elevating local small to midsize accounts. This role is intentionally designed as an empowering springboard for your career, offering a supportive environment where you can receive dedicated mentorship and focus on mastering the key fundamentals of a full-scale Account Manager.

Cultivate Trust & Deepen Partnerships: Nurture and elevate existing customer relationships within your assigned territory through warm, consultative outreachcombining intentional in-person travel with consistent phone contact.

Collaborative Problem Solving: Listen deeply to client concerns and build thoughtful solutions to address customer complaints. You will act as an advocate for the customer, collaborating with internal teams to make meaningful recommendations to management.

Empowered Solution Design: Prepare comprehensive sales proposals by aligning pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules to perfectly match your customer's operational needs.

Market Intelligence & Advocacy: Stay attuned to the marketplace by gathering insights on product trends and merchandising techniques, ensuring our clients always have access to the best options available.

Team & Operational Support: Maintain a structured approach to your week by sharing work plans with your District Manager (DM), and occasionally support your team by assisting with counter sales in a back-up capacity.

Expand your expertise in customer service excellence and advanced problem-solving techniques.

Receive hands-on learning in welding and gas product applications, giving you the confidence to tailor presentations, demonstrate product features, and explain technical uses clearly and warmly to diverse audiences.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of prior outside sales/service experience.
• Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication, listening and presentation skills.
• Self-starter; self-motivated, operates with a sense of urgency; ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, analytical and planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to advance customer growth, nurture long-term accounts, and build alignment across internal teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical or product details clearly and warmly to diverse audiences.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to conduct intentional in-person territory travel.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas / welding supply sales is a plus.
• A detailed understanding of Google, or MS Office Applications, SAP functionalities.
• The ability to communicate clearly and warmly with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.
