Program Director

Minnesota Hands & Voices is seeking a collaborative leader to oversee statewide programs supporting children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. Through a family-centered peer-to-peer approach the Director helps ensure families have access to trusted information meaningful connections and resources that support their childs growth development and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow Minnesota Hands & Voices and DHH Role Model programs.
• Supervise support and develop a dedicated team while fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Oversee program operations budgets grants contracts quality outcomes and evaluation activities.
• Build strong partnerships with families community organizations funders referral partners and stakeholders.
• Identify funding opportunities and support long-term program sustainability and growth.
• Represent the organization in community collaborations and initiatives

Requirements:

• Must be a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.
• Bachelors degree and at least five years of leadership management or related experience.
• Strong communication relationship-building organizational and leadership skills.
• Commitment to supporting families in an unbiased inclusive and family-centered manner.
• Experience with public policy grants nonprofit programs or community engagement preferred.
• American Sign Language (ASL) and/or Cued Speech proficiency strongly preferred.
• Must have schedule flexibility including weekends and evenings.
