Key Responsibilities\n

The selected candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy to individuals suffering from mental health issues related to substance abuse, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize best practices and solution-focused interventions.

• Administer interventions tailored to support recovery, monitoring patient progress and adjusting approaches as necessary for efficacy.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records that comply with regulatory standards, ensuring effective documentation for all therapeutic activities.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare team members to coordinate care and support patients in their recovery journey.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about available mental health resources and develop strategies to foster support systems for long-term success.

• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in substance abuse treatment, integrating emerging best practices into your therapeutic approach.

• Manage a caseload effectively, adhering to treatment goals and maintaining ethical standards throughout practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, inclusive of individuals from various backgrounds struggling with different stages of substance abuse. This role requires a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by these individuals and a commitment to providing tailored support that addresses both their mental health and substance use disorders. You will work with patients from initial intake through recovery and aftercare, playing a pivotal role in their transformation.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• A valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or a psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience, specifically in substance abuse therapy, is essential.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with experience in integrated care settings, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and additional certifications in mental health specialties will be highly regarded. Experience working with underserved populations is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
