The Contributions You Will Make Strategically plan and manage resources to maximize territory sales using industry and firm data, and prioritizing advisors. Develop and manage a strong and active pipeline and record all meeting activity in a timely manner within our CRM. Responsible for budgeting expenses efficiently. Work in conjunction with a Regional Coordinator (internal wholesaler) to drive sales through geographically distinct, or select segmented firms, to identify and foster leads generated from segmentation, referrals, ad campaigns, and territory canvassing. Partner with other lines of business within Voya, such as alternative specialist, DCIO, Workplace Solutions and NQDC to drive synergies and enhance firm enterprise value. Travel required, including overnight stays, where applicable. Minimum of 20 appointments per week in the field conducting one-on-one meetings, presentations and attending conferences; virtual meetings are permitted Minimum Knowledge And Experience Proven consultative sales professional with 8+ years of success wholesaling mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, model portfolios, and private and public alternative investments, delivering strong results across assigned territories. Proven ability to grow a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business over multiple years. Develop and maintain strong relationships across all channels. Strong organizational skills, technical expertise in mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, model portfolios, and alternative investments, extensive capital markets knowledge, a keen understanding of the competitive landscape, and a demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts. Exceptional presentation skills. A collaborative team-player with a strong ability to work independently and ability to communicate clearly and concisely. This candidate will partner internally across the intermediary line of business and with other areas within the organization including Workplace Solutions and NQDC businesses to deliver enterprise value. Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles practices as well as having a strong knowledge of the capital markets. Series 7, 66 licenses required. Candidate must reside in territory. Compensation Pay Disclosure Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $100,000 USD base salary plus monthly commissions and annual bonus opportunities Be Well.
