Job Title: Industrial Painter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting structural steel using a spray gun, ensuring that metal beams are prepped, primed, and painted to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Use a spray gun to apply paint and coatings to metal beams.

• Prepare and prime surfaces to ensure proper adhesion.

• Mix paints to achieve desired colors and consistencies.

• Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial painting.

• Proficiency with spray guns and HPLV (High-Pressure Low-Volume) systems.

• Ability to mix and apply industrial paints and coatings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role, even if not in a formal work environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a small manufacturing facility with less than 50 employees. The facility specializes in coating, painting, and welding services for various industries. The work schedule is from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
