Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Extended Recovery Duration: 10 weeks Shift: 3rd NOC Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current state Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role incorporates essential functions based on the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. The nurse will provide post-surgical care and be skilled in patient care management.
