2nd Shift Flavor (Production) Operator

• Location: Carol Stream, IL
• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour (includes shift differential)

Position Summary

The 2nd Shift Flavor Production Operator works during the evening shift to continue flavor compounding, blending, and packaging operations. This role demands a high level of self-motivation, safety awareness, and technical care to meet evening output targets without sacrificing product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound high-quality powder or liquid food flavorings using precise manufacturing recipes.
• Operate large-scale compounding and packaging machinery safely under minimal direct evening supervision.
• Package finished flavor compounds into commercial drums, pails, or totes, ensuring correct seal integrity and regulatory labels.
• Document operational data and batch sheets comprehensively, reporting any discrepancies or machinery issues to the shift supervisor.
• Perform thorough end-of-shift equipment sanitation and work-area housekeeping to ensure a clean handoff for the morning crew.
• Strictly follow all company health, safety, and cGMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong basic math skills for verifying weights and unit conversions.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs consistently and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with potent, diverse food aromas and flavor profiles.
• Dependable attendance and the flexibility to work evening shift schedules along with occasional overtime as required.
