L&D Consultant

Responsibilities The Learning and Development Consultant will partner with leaders and SMEs to design and deliver impactful learning experiences that support firm priorities. Partner with SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to plan, schedule, coordinate, develop, and execute training sessions. Assist SME with managing resources and materials. Partner with SMEs, training committees, and leaders to assess learning needs, design strategies, learning goals, and blended learning approaches aligned to firm initiatives. Develop learning materials (e.g., facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, and multimedia content). Manage timelines and internal workflows for recurring and non-recurring training sessions. Recommend, in collaboration with L&D leaders, effective instructional methods and ensure effective learning logistics are considered. Work with SMEs to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions. Support HR projects, including project planning, execution, progress tracking, and reporting. Build strong relationships across teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field required. 4+ years of experience in learning and development, training design/delivery, or training project management. Experience in a professional services environment preferred. Strong expertise in instructional design, project management, and learning delivery systems/media. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel); familiarity with Visio preferred. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive results. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and adapt communication to diverse audiences. Self‑motivated with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach. Compensation Compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is $63,000.00 – $100,000.00.
