Position: Transportation Regional Director Location: Orlando, FL Job Id: 6419 # of Openings: 1 Garver is seeking a dynamic and strategic Transportation Regional Director to lead operations, drive growth, and foster excellence across our Southeast Region. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced professional with a history of transportation engineering experience in this regional, bringing an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong background in engineering consulting, team development, and client engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Client RelationsDevelop and execute a growth plan for expansion of transportation services throughout the southeast region of the United States. Assist with strategic pursuits, including interview preparation and win strategies for projects in the region.Evaluate and approve go/no-go decisions for project opportunities.Maintain high-level client relationships and perform regular project debriefs and client check-ins.Maintain and Develop key partnering relationships. Staff DevelopmentMentor and support Team Leaders to foster professional growth and leadership.Recruit and onboard Project Managers and Team Leaders.Public & Government RelationsRepresent Garver in civic and professional organizations.Build and maintain relationships at the political level necessary to support key pursuits.Administrative LeadershipDevelop and execute a growth plan for expansion of transportation services throughout the southeast region of the United States. Oversee and approve contract terms, scopes, and fees to mitigate risk.Manage leaders across the region performing at a high level and have accountability to the goals established in the business plan.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited universityProven leadership experience in engineering consulting.Strong understanding of business operations, client relations, and team development.Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.Ability to travel within the region as needed.Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida and the ability to obtain licensure in other states regionally.
