Personal Injury Associate AttorneyLos Angeles, CAWindsor Troy Law, LLP, is a civil litigation firm that focuses on plaintiff's side personal injury and school/government liability cases. As an Associate Attorney at Windsor Troy Law, LLP, you will have the opportunity to focus on case strategy and professional development, instead of time-consuming tasks that most firms give their newer lawyers. The right candidate will have experience taking, defending and preparing for depositions and will have an interest in attending court hearings and mediations. The Associate Attorney will be given mentorship by senior attorneys and will have the opportunity to participate in focus groups, trial preparation and attorney skill programs. We provide a lot of support to our attorneys, including AI technology that aims to improve productivity and efficiency. Trial participation is expected, but we will transition you into that part of the practice.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters in litigationPrepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaintsDraft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputesPrepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearingsTake and defend depositions throughout the course of litigationPrepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motionsAttend court appearancesNegotiate settlements for personal injury casesDirect and support investigation on all assigned litigation mattersQualifications1-2 years of Personal Injury Law experienceStrong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discoveryBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not requiredJuris Doctor degree and current good standing with CA State bar is required.Workers Compensation experience is a plusWritten Discovery skillsConducting DepositionsSalary: $ 80,000 - $160,000 a yearHere at Windsor Troy Law, LLP, we offer medical, dental, and vision insurance.
