Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Sioux Falls, SDBlue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls, SD.This role focuses on delivering skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, cognition, and overall independence.This position will serve multiple partner communities, including Bethel Lutheran Home in Madison, SD with travel between locations as needed.What You'll DoProvide skilled occupational therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of careImplement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomesTreat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settingsMonitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational TherapistMaintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standardsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomesWhat You BringGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programCurrent Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable stateExperience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferredStrong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skillsCommitment to patient-centered care and professional standardsWhy Blue Stone Therapy?We believe exceptional care begins with exceptional clinicians.
