B&B Plumbing, Inc. is looking for a skilled, reliable Service Technician to join our team and bring quality plumbing solutions directly to our customers. You'll work independently in the field, diagnose real problems, and deliver professional service that keeps our community's plumbing running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing

Field Work & Customer Service

• Perform plumbing diagnostics and repair work for residential and commercial clients
• Work directly with homeowners to understand their issues and recommend solutions
• Complete service reports and capture before/after photos and client signatures on each job
• Price out materials and manage work orders with accuracy

Independent Operations

• Manage your own schedule and prioritize service calls without micromanagement
• Maintain your vehicle and report any issues promptly
• Handle on-call rotation per company schedule (changes available with supervisor approval)
• Clock in/out and complete daily paperwork throughout your day

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or injuries immediately
• Complete required safety certifications, including OSHA 10 (mandatory)
• Maintain your vehicle to our company's insurance standards
• Represent B&B Plumbing professionally on and off the job

What We're Looking For

Your Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment
• Manual dexterity and strong troubleshooting abilities
• Comfortable doing math for measurements, calculations, and estimates
• Experience working independently and managing your time effectively

Your Attitude & Character

• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in appearance and manner
• Strong communication skills with customers (one-on-one interaction is key)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Committed to staying current with industry standards and pursuing certifications

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (acceptable to our insurance carrier)
• Ability to perform physical tasks: standing, bending, squatting, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, occasionally working in confined spaces
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to attend scheduled service meetings and job walks
