Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab findings
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Deliver support during surgical procedures, which includes preparing ORs, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing instruments
• Provide top-notch pre- and post-operative care including administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Must hold a current and validated PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Robust understanding of surgical methodologies and sterile procedures
