Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM EST; on-call/callback required; holidays and occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans, strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for CT scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary and position patients appropriately, utilizing safe patient handling techniques for those with limited mobility
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all required components within EPIC, identifying images, and ensuring correct transmission to the PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment

Required Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Active certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active New York State licensure (must be obtained prior to start date); HCPs currently registered in NYS must have injection therapy certification noted on their license at time of submission
• Minimum of two (2) years of CT Technologist experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Injection certification preferred; candidates must be willing to complete certification during the orientation process if not already obtained
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment
• Experience with telemetry monitoring
