PT Little Rock, AR, US Position Summary: The Childcare Coordinator is responsible for leadership over assigned Childcare events. This part-time role will work closely under the leadership of the Childcare Director to oversee the discipleship of children and teachers. The Childcare Coordinator should have a passion for working with and assisting children at all developmental levels as well as strong leadership skills. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the job are important in this role. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in regard to tasks associated with setting up/closing Childcare events and keeping the children’s area organized and prepared is a must. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee Sunday afternoon and Wednesday Childcare events Interview/train/onboard teachers who work evening events Create parent groups and rosters for evening and special events Recruit from pool of existing teachers for Sunday and Wednesday night events Assist in setting up and cleaning up Childcare events Assist with check in/attendance for Childcare events Maintain organization and readiness of classrooms, game closet, supply room, and laundry room for teachers Create playlists via Playlister for events Oversee the rotation for teachers that come to sanitize during the week Assist with creating schedules for all WLR Childcare events Set up craft materials related to story from set curriculum for Re-Engage and special events Communicate weekly with teachers and send reminders Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Education and Experience: Knowledge and Skills: Learning agile and open to change/quick to find solutions Is self-aware, both aware of personal strengths and not defensive in the face on constructive feedback Communicates clearly with teachers, children, parents, and church staff Helps to build an effective team of teachers and supports them in multiple ways Ability to delegate tasks to teachers and hold accountability for completing tasks Exhibits process management skills to keep things running smoothly Spiritual Requirements: Committed to Fellowship Bible Church’s mission, values, and beliefs.
