Insurance Regulatory Associate Attorney
Direct Counsel is seeking an Insurance Regulatory Associate Attorney to join a leading AmLaw firm's State and Local Policy Regulation practice in Dallas, Houston, or Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research related to insurance regulatory matters.
- Prepare legal memoranda, opinion letters, contracts, regulatory filings, and other written materials.
- Communicate with state insurance regulators.
- Analyze insurance-related contracts and other agreements.
- Attend regulatory hearings and other meetings.
- Review due diligence materials.
- Support clients on a variety of insurance regulatory matters.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of transferable experience in a law firm or insurance regulatory agency.
- At least 1 year of experience in insurance regulatory law.
- Texas Bar admission and good standing required.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong ability to prioritize matters and provide excellent client service.
Locations: Austin, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Houston, Texas Salary: $225,000$365,000/year
