Labor & Delivery Rn High-Risk Perinatal

Schedule: - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend - Holiday expectation: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Assignment Details: - Facility births/month: ~200300 births - Floating: Required between facilities within the state

Requirements: - Valid state license - 2 years clinical experience required; travelers are expected to have prior travel experience - AWHONN Advanced preferred OR NCC EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN - ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required - Experience with continuous fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, and assisting with vaginal deliveries and C-sections

Roles & Responsibilities: - Monitor fetal heart rates continuously and interpret results - Provide high-risk pregnancy monitoring and care during antepartum and intrapartum periods - Assist with vaginal deliveries and perform sterile vaginal exams - Circulate and scrub for C-sections, including participation in the OR/PACU for C-sections - Provide care for newborns at delivery and during the postpartum period

Compliance / Notes: - RTO (Return-to-Office) requests must be included at submission - Background/license issues must be disclosed prior to submission - LA Fire Card required within the last 30 days
