Smartphone, Equipment, etc. Opportunities for growth, development, and advancement through an actual growth Awards and recognition Responsibilities As a Fumigation Apprentice with Western Fumigation , you will be provided with all the tools and training you will need to be successful in starting or continuing a career in the pest control/fumigation industry. If you are a self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and are seeking a new career or to expand upon existing experience and skills, this may be the right fit for you. What You’ll Be Doing: Assist with the completion of the fumigation process; sealing, tarping, introduction of fumigant, conducting readings, and aerating. Use safety monitoring equipment to conduct readings Read, understand, and follow labels and SDS forms for materials used during services provided Inspect, maintain, and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properly Follow proper safety guidelines, including but not limited following label, DOT regulations, and all client specified guidelines Willing and able to bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods of time Climb ladders and work at heights Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Shows firm and constant support to a cause Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Considered a thought leader on a subject Works well as a member of a group Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Inspired to perform well by the knowledge that your job is safe, the praise of coworkers, monetary reimbursement and the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Strong Customer Service skills Requirements High School/GED or better Driver’s license Must be 18 years of age CDL with HAZMAT a PLUS or the ability to obtain This position requires the flexibility to perform nights, weekends and over-time We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws Physical Demands / Working Environment Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Salary Range: $20.00 -30.00 per hour Western Fumigation is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Western Pest Services
