Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The weekly schedule includes two weekend shifts or four weekend days every six weeks. Flexibility with scheduling is essential. Candidates must be aware of the zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required for all RNs regardless of specialty. Candidates are expected to have experience managing diverse patient cases, including trauma. Skills required include interpretation of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, and general emergency department procedures. Candidates should be prepared to float to various units as necessary. The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills. Compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. We welcome first-time travelers.
