Utilities Manager

Leading a team of analysts, the full-time Utilities Manager will oversee utility recapture performance, manage billing operations, and ensure compliance across multiple communities while working remotely. Key responsibilities Manage the monthly recapture cycle, ensuring accurate billing and identifying root causes of discrepancies Lead and coach a team of analysts on rate analysis and compliance, while reviewing their work for accuracy Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and tracking renewals Required qualifications 4+ years of experience in utility management, property operations, or financial analysis Proven people management experience with a focus on setting expectations and performance reviews Advanced Excel skills and experience with large general ledger exports Working knowledge of multi-state utility pass-through regulations Strong vendor negotiation skills and experience drafting written communications
