Position Highlights

• Dedicated Nocturnist role within a physician-founded, physician-led private practice hospitalist group

• Primary focus on overnight admissions, inpatient coverage, and acute care management across top-tier regional hospitals

• 7 on / 7 off schedule providing long stretches of predictable time off with true separation from clinical responsibilities

• Acute care NP team providing overnight APP support for coverage continuity and admission workflow

• Patient census and acuity consistent with a high-volume urban hospital environment including complex service line co-management

• Competitive base salary with profit sharing and production bonus opportunity

• Physician-owned and physician-led private practice group founded in 2018, among the fastest-growing hospitalist organizations in the Tampa Bay region

• Over 70 providers operating across more than 20 acute care and post-acute facilities throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas County

• Nocturnist physicians operate within high-acuity hospital settings including co-management exposure across neurology, transplant, and heart failure service lines

• Dedicated nocturnist team structure with clear role definition and operational support built specifically around overnight medicine

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active Florida medical licensure or eligibility to obtain

• Prior nocturnist or overnight inpatient hospital medicine experience strongly preferred

• Comfort with high-volume admissions and independent overnight clinical decision-making

• Experience in high-acuity environments with complex patient populations preferred

• Collaborative mindset and commitment to seamless handoff communication with day team counterparts

• Strong work ethic and alignment with a group that holds its physicians to a high standard
