Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Security in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, serving as the first point of contact for tenants, guests, and staff. In this stationary role, you will monitor access, support security-related protocols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor access according to property guidelines, and document arrivals, departures, and other front desk-related activity. Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with property management and/or emergency contacts as needed. Answer phones, greet guests, and provide directions or general assistance to support daily operations at the location. Complete reports, logs, and other documentation related to security-related events, visitor management, and/or unusual activity observed at the front desk. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
