Surgical Technician

Location: Arcata, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift with some shared call, including evenings and weekends.

Job Description: The Surgical Technician will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, specifically Endoscopy cases, ensuring the surgical environment is prepared and maintaining sterility throughout the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment.
• Assist during surgical procedures, particularly in Endoscopy.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and sterile.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification as a Surgical Technician.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current TB clearance.
