Work Environment

This role is an onsite position based in our rehabilitation center, where collaboration and teamwork are emphasized. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering an environment rich in shared learning and professional growth. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify patient needs, goals, and treatment options within an orthopedic context.
• Managing a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient objectives, utilizing a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Creating and modifying fitness and wellness programs to enhance patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Assessing treatment outcomes, documenting progress meticulously, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Encouraging patient motivation throughout the rehabilitation process to achieve functional independence.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to utilize a multidisciplinary approach in optimizing patient care.
• Providing guidance on alternative solutions to medications and surgical procedures whenever possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients seeking outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. This may include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient's treatment plan will be designed with their specific diagnosis and functional goals in mind, ensuring personalized care that addresses their unique challenges.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean record free from any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software platforms such as WebPT to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting are highly desirable. Demonstrated success in managing patient outcomes and a strong foundation in evidence-based practices will strengthen your application.

Compensation and Benefits
