The Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional security service in accordance with assignment instructions and customer requirements, while delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, the Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and operations, ensuring the site remains protected, efficient, and fully operational. Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Protection of Property and Premises Prevent unauthorised access and monitor alarms/CCTV. Conduct regular internal and external patrols. Manage traffic, parking, keys, and locking/unlocking duties. Carry out routine equipment checks and maintain records/logbooks. Issue visitor passes and manage site equipment per procedures. Handle lost property in line with instructions. Health and Safety Support staff, visitors, and contractors to ensure site safety. Follow and enforce health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and incidents. Keep emergency routes clear at all times. Report use and shortages of First Aid supplies. Notify SOC in emergencies and follow instructions. Investigate all fire alarm activations.
