* Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability * Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines * Determine the structure and design of web pages. * Ensure user experience determines design choices. * Develop features to enhance the user experience. * Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design. * Ensure web design is optimized for major devices. * Build reusable code for future use. * Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability. * Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages. * Maintain brand consistency throughout the design. * Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms * Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface * Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting * Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies * Promote usability best practices
