Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures using DR fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable DR systems; ensure image quality and patient safety.
- Operate Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and related radiology equipment; maintain strict radiation safety and wear the assigned dosimetry badge.
- Document procedures in the electronic medical record (Epic); verify orders and communicate findings to radiologists and the care team.
- Position patients, apply shielding, monitor patient comfort, and adhere to ALARA principles during exams.
- Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff during rotating shifts; participate in call coverage as assigned.
- Maintain licensure and certification requirements, including Hawaii state radiologic technologist licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS; demonstrate proficiency in equipment and radiation safety.

Requirements
- Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer)
- ARRT Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of independent radiologic technologist experience
- Proficiency with radiographic equipment (DR fixed, DR fluoro, C-arms, portable DR); knowledge of radiation safety and dosimetry
- Experience with Epic EMR; Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro; Konica DR preferred
- Must arrive on island prior to start for HR/EH clearance (Thursday arrival; HR/EH appointments Friday)
- No RTO allowed within the first 13 weeks of the contract
