Azure DevOps Architect

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established organization to identify an Azure DevOps Architect who will operate at an enterprise level owning the design, governance, and long-term evolution of Azure DevOps environments across multiple product lines. This position is full time (Direct Hire), with full benefits and 100% onsite (Monday- Friday) in San Diego.

Responsibilities:

• Own Azure DevOps architecture across multiple product lines
• Establish scalable standards for CI/CD, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure
• Embed security + compliance directly into engineering workflows
• Guide teams and influence decisions at both the engineering and executive level
• Have designed enterprise-scale Azure DevOps and IaC environments
• Embed security, compliance, and identity controls into pipelines
• Own architecture, governance, AND long-term strategy

Experience:

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure architecture
• 4+ years designing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks
• Proven track record operating at a multi-team / multi-product architecture level
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Terraform experience
• App Services, AKS, Functions, Networking, Identity (Entra ID)
• Experience in security integration
• PowerShell, or Bash or Python scripting skills
