Pediatric Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

Role Description The Pediatric Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant will provide hands-on physical therapy services to infants and children at Line Leader Pediatric Therpay, in the Austin, Texas. Daily responsibilities include evaluating motor skills and functional mobility, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions focused on strength, balance, coordination, and gross motor development. The role involves monitoring progress, documenting sessions and outcomes, and collaborating closely with families and other therapy providers (speech, occupational, and feeding) to ensure coordinated care. The clinician will also educate caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, positioning, and strategies to support functional independence in everyday environments. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Pediatric Physical Therapy to provide age-appropriate, evidence-based interventions. Knowledge of Pediatrics to understand developmental milestones, diagnoses, and interdisciplinary care. Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas. Experience working with infants and children in clinical early intervention settings is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with families and a multidisciplinary team. Ability to perform physical job duties, manage a caseload, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
