Application Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Epic ClinDoc Analyst to configure, build, and maintain the Epic ClinDoc module, including clinical workflows, documentation tools, and templates. This role will partner with clinicians, IT staff, and hospital leadership to optimize nursing, ancillary, and provider documentation workflows.

The analyst will analyze system needs, gather user requirements, and implement enhancements or new features, while supporting testing, troubleshooting, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities also include developing training materials and workflow documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices, and collaborating with other Epic teams such as Orders, HIM, and Reporting to support seamless system integration.

The analyst will also provide end-user support and training as needed and participate in on-call support and go-live activities for critical system issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Epic ClinDoc Certification (Verona)
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Epic ClinDoc build experience
Passion to learn and grow
