Fork Lift Operator (2nd Shift)

Jefferson, GA
Ability to work 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM, with overtime as determined by business needs

Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up order picker, cherry picker, and reach trucks to safely transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Accurately pick, pack, load, and unload goods following established shipping and receiving protocols
- Use technology, including PCs and scanners, to complete job tasks and execute JDE transactions
- Perform and reconcile cycle counts, record turnbacks, and process rework work orders and purchase orders
- Maintain high departmental quality standards and uphold 5S organizational practices
- Read and interpret packing lists to locate and handle materials properly
- Recommend workflow improvements, focusing on efficiency and continuous improvement
- Complete required paperwork and administrative tasks associated with shipments
- Support relentless root cause analysis to resolve inventory discrepancies
- Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a forklift operator (3-5 years preferred)
- Valid and current forklift operator license
- Proficiency operating sit-down, stand-up order picker, cherry picker (including at heights), and reach trucks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Skilled in using warehouse technology and software
