Nurse ManagerThe Operations Manager – Pain Center is responsible for the overall operational performance of the Pain Center across Miami Valley Hospital Main and Miami Valley Hospital South locations. In partnership with organizational and physician leadership, this role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure exceptional patient care, an outstanding patient experience, operational excellence, and achievement of organizational goals.This position oversees day-to-day clinic and procedural operations while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. The Operations Manager is responsible for operational performance, regulatory readiness, financial stewardship, workforce planning, quality outcomes, and patient experience.The Operations Manager serves as the operational liaison between hospital leadership, physician partners, and interdisciplinary teams, driving collaboration to optimize clinical workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational initiatives. This role identifies opportunities for process improvement, supports growth and service expansion, and leads change management efforts that enhance access, quality, and operational performance.The Operations Manager maintains a visible presence throughout the department, exercises sound professional judgment, participates on organizational committees, and performs other duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission, vision, and values.EducationMinimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree in NursingAdditional requirements:Type of degree: Bachelor's degree in NursingArea of study or major: NursingPreferred educational qualifications: Master's degree in Healthcare AdministrationLicensure/Certification/RegistrationValid Registered Nurse License in the State of OhioExperienceMinimum Level of Experience Required: 3-5 years of job related experiencePrior job title or occupational experience: Practice Manager, Office Manager, Clinic Manager, Operations Manager, Nurse Manager or related leadership rolePrior specific functional responsibilities: Leading employees, overseeing daily operations, managing staffing and scheduling, supporting provider relations, patient experience oversight, performance improvement, policy compliance, and operational workflow coordinationPreferred experience: Multi-site medical practice leadership, physician practice operations, healthcare regulatory compliance, employee development, 1-2 years of nursing leadership in surgical/procedural area experience preferredOther experience requirements: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and drive operational excellence
