Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any).

Required Skills/Experience: Clinician will be responsible for interpreting/managing telemetry.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status, if former employee. Assignment length options: 13 or 26 weeks.

Unit Details: MS/Tele unit caring for adult and geriatric patients. Critical access, Level III trauma center teaching hospital.

Shift & Scheduling: Day (07:00 - 19:00) or night (19:00 - 07:00). No call. Every other weekend. Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Floating Requirements: Floating may be required between units to meet department needs within scope, based on unit needs and skill sets. Floating to other units and facilities may be required to meet PH&S needs. Potential facilities include Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, a hotel will be offered. Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
