Anesthesiology Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed) MedCBO offers independent physicians the opportunity to own and operate a medical practice with full clinical control while receiving structured operational support for non‑clinical business functions. This role is not an employment position; physicians will establish or transition a practice in a preferred market subject to state licensure and regulatory requirements. Physician Responsibilities Provide medical care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop and maintain professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing and determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community-based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
