Set amidst the beautiful surroundings near Santa Cruz, this contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make a meaningful impact within preschool to 5th grade educational settings. This flexible position requires a total commitment of 40 hours per week, which can be fulfilled by one professional working five days a week or split between two OTs (one covering two days and the other covering three days weekly). The assignment lasts from August 5, 2026, through December 19, 2026.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid licensure and credentials to practice as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting
• Experience delivering OT services in schools, ideally with preschool and elementary populations
• Familiarity with IEP processes, including assessment, teams, goal writing, and reporting progress
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, teachers, and support staff
• Ability to manage varying caseloads (approx. 25 for the 3-day site, 15 for the 2-day site), totaling around 40 students
• Commitment to supportive, student-centered practice and responsive intervention

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OT services to students from preschool through 5th grade
• Participate as an active member of each student’s IEP team
• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and re-evaluations as needed
• Monitor and document student progress on OT goals within the IEP framework
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student participation and success
• Adapt service delivery to the needs of both small and larger caseloads
