RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN - Traveler

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 AM - 05:30 PM, 10 hours per day, 4 days a week. On-call is required for 10 days a month, including 4 weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) traveler who is prepared to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in catheterization lab procedures and possess the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
• Assist physicians during catheterizations and other interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Emergency care or critical care experience preferred.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Fit test and health statement to be completed prior to onboarding.
• Immunizations, including Influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella, must be up to date.
