Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description

As a Press Brake Operator, you will set up and operate Cincinnati Brake Press machines, working with materials such as stainless steel and cold rolled steel. You will prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations, utilizing custom punch/die tooling in combination with standard tooling. Additionally, you will perform complex programming using all features of the press brake, including bending at angles, offset bends, and proper back gauge transfer between steps, while maintaining safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Cincinnati Brake Press machines.
• Prepare and execute complex bend setups and forming operations.
• Conduct complex programming using all press brake features.
• Perform math and measure part dimensions using instruments such as calipers, protractors, and micrometers.
• Inspect parts and measure critical dimensions.
• Meet production rates and read prints.
• Inspect parts and fill out inspection paperwork.
• Maintain calibrated tools and work safely.
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Stand and work in various positions for several hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Proficiency in press brake operation and setup.
• Experience in CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including metal fabrication and stamping.
• Competence in machine operation and tooling.

• Experience with sheet metal and mechanical operations.
• Familiarity with turret, lathe, CNC mill, and tooling.
• Inspection skills using various measurement instruments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Woodbury, MN.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
