Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), every other weekend rotation, some holidays. 4x12 and weekend blocked scheduling options available. Patient ratio 3:1.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required; at least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Must pass telemetry exam prior to start (strict passing criteria: 100% identification of lethal rhythms, 80% overall passing score)
• Demonstrated competency in multiple ICU specialties required
• Strong arrhythmia interpretation skills required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from facility

Essential Skills & Experience

• Ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP monitoring, pulmonary artery catheters)
• CRRT/CVVHD experience
• Cardiac drip and vasoactive medication titration
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Central line and PICC line management
• Blood product administration and IV insulin protocols
• BiPAP/CPAP management and high-flow nasal cannula
• Post-cardiac surgery and post-neurosurgery care
• Trauma and burn ICU experience highly valued
• Experience with specialty equipment including ECMO, IABP, Impella, ICP monitoring, and external ventricular drains preferred
