Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is based in Kernersville, NC on-site and supports Pinnacle Contracting Services, LLC and its sister company Southern Design by attracting, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates. Responsibilities Work with hiring managers to define staffing needs and draft accurate job descriptions. Attend career fairs, school events, and related venues to identify potential candidates; travel frequently between NC and GA. Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified talent. Post openings and source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other channels. Administer Cultural Index surveys for applicants as part of the screening process. Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and perform early interviews. Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers; provide timely feedback and summaries. Support onboarding activities as needed to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires. Maintain accurate applicant and employee records within HR systems. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Track recruiting metrics and generate reports when requested. Assist with additional duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience. Willingness to travel frequently between the Triad area of North Carolina and the Atlanta, Georgia area. Comfort with spending the majority of time on the road supporting career fairs, hiring events, site visits, and recruiting initiatives. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn HRIS, ATS, and other recruiting software.
