Accounting Clerk Full Time

Summary:

The basic function of the Accounting Clerk is to perform the necessary duties which includes; receive, code, match receivers, and enter into the Accounts Payable Data Base System. This person needs to be comfortable and experienced with fielding calls from Vendors looking for payment. General Accounting skills for reconciliation and problem solving, have a strong knowledge of accounting.

Essential Job Functions:

• Code Payables
• Match Material and Freight Receivers to invoices.
• Enter Accounts Payables into the A/P Data Base System
• Match Payable Checks and Mail
• File Payables
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, College
• Experience 5 years + or Certificate Accounting Program
• Skills, knowledge and abilities, excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Read, Write and Speak fluent English
• Excellent Math Skills
• Skilled in the use of computers and calculators, 10-Key by touch
• Maintain an organized workspace
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability
• Well groomed and professional appearance
• Show a willingness to accept responsibility to challenges of the position
• Serious Applicants Only with at least 1 year experience in Accounting need apply.
