Job Summary Experienced Medical Billing Specialist for Multi-Specialty Physician Network. Strong knowledge of Physician Billing including ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT procedure codes and modifiers (when applicable). Solid knowledge of working holds, denials and following‑up on insurance claims. Location & Schedule Department: HVA Fairlawn Suite 201 Location: Fairlawn Status: Full Time Shift: Days Hours: 9am to 5pm Job Essentials The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies. Minimum of three or more years of Physician Billing experience required. Strong communication, follow‑up and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology and insurance skills. Experience with EPIC and Athena Health Collector software desirable. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED License/Certification/Registry Associate’s Degree or Certified Medical Billing Certificate preferred. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
