Robotic Welder

Robotic Welder We are seeking entry-level welders to operate a robotic welder in a metal manufacturing shop. This role involves grinding, tack welding, and maintaining the accuracy of the robot while working on steel parts. The ideal candidate will be able to follow prints and perform repairs on any steel not meeting quality standards. There is an opportunity for promotion to a Table Welder after the probation period. Responsibilities Operate a Fanuc robotic welder and ensure its accurate performance. Perform grinding and tack welding as part of daily operations. Follow blueprints to work on steel parts in a shop environment. Maintain and repair any steel not meeting quality standards. Perform Mig welding processes on steel parts, including hot rolled steel. Conduct inspections and touch-up parts as needed. Essential Skills Experience in welding, particularly Mig and Tig welding. Ability to work with hot rolled steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints. Experience with robotic welding and metal fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical certification or at least one year of experience in a shop atmosphere is preferred. Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled and located indoors within two large buildings. These buildings house welding, machining, and assembling practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLATHE, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
